Dr. M. Rafiqul Islam
MBBS, MRCP, FRCRConsultant Clinical Oncologist, Research and SABR Lead at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust (Southend & Broomfield Hospitals), and MR-Linac (MRL) Specialist. Dr. Islam will lead sessions on Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy (SABR/SBRT) for oligometastatic disease and advanced image guidance.

MBBS, MRCP, FRCRConsultant Clinical Oncologist specializing in Breast and Colorectal Malignancies at the renowned Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, Glasgow. Dr. Abdullah will anchor the Colorectal & Breast systemic therapy plenaries and live MDT deliberations.

PICC Line placement, long-line tunneling, Port-a-Cath access and maintenance simulations.
● Workstation 3: Precision Radiotherapy Planning & SABR Target Delineation
4D-CT Motion Gating, organ-at-risk contouring, and modern hypofractionation planning masterclass.
● Workstation 4: Oncoplastic Geometric Markings & Suture Simulation
Volume displacement techniques, oncoplastic surgical design, and advanced reconstruction suture simulation.
Accreditation: Applied for up to 12 UK Royal College CPD Credits.
Important: Seats for the simulation labs are strictly capped at 50 delegates on a first-come, first-served basis.
BCC Formation Meeting – February 2025
Dhaka, Bangladesh – March 15, 2024 – A meeting of senior oncology and allied specialists at Dhaka Medical College (DMCH) marked the launch of the Bangladesh Cancer Consortium (BCC), a clinician-led initiative to advance equitable cancer care nationwide. In affiliation with TACHRC CIC (Tasmia Asif Foundation UK), the initiative aims to improve outcomes through advocacy, knowledge sharing, research collaboration, and public awareness—building a unified platform that connects institutions and disciplines for lasting benefit.
